It reads text, images, video and audio as one brief and returns video with native stereo sound. On ImgVid we've set it up for text to video, image to video, first and last frame video and reference to video, all in the same workspace.

Three things stand out. H3 generates sound with the picture, while Hailuo 2.3 on ImgVid returns silent clips. It takes 9 images, 3 videos and 3 audio clips as references, where Hailuo 2.3 takes a single image. And it renders any length from 4 to 15 seconds in 768P or 2K, compared with 6 or 10 seconds in 768P or 1080P. For a quick silent test from one photo, we'd still reach for Hailuo 2.3, which costs fewer credits.

Any length from 4 to 15 seconds, at 24 frames per second, in 768P or 2K. Aspect ratios cover 16:9, 21:9, 4:3, 1:1, 3:4 and 9:16, plus Auto, which lets the model pick the best fit. Our tip: test timing and framing at 768P and save 2K for the take you plan to publish.

Yes. Every clip comes with 32 kHz stereo sound generated together with the picture, including dialogue, ambience, effects and music. Write spoken lines exactly as they should be heard and say who speaks them. MiniMax lists stable dialogue in 11 languages: Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish. There's no audio switch for this model, so if you need a silent clip, mute the track in your editor.

Up to 9 images, 3 video clips and 3 audio clips per video. The video clips together, and the audio clips together, can run up to 15 seconds. MiniMax caps one request at 12 files in total, and audio needs at least one image or video beside it. Say in your prompt what each file is for, for example which image is the main character, which clip sets the camera move and which track sets the voice. Only upload material you have the rights to use.

Partly. MiniMax published the H3 weights on August 3, 2026 under its own community license, which excludes some regions. A local install renders at 768p, because the 2K regeneration step and the prompt preprocessing stay on MiniMax's hosted service. On ImgVid you use the hosted model, so 2K works without any setup.

It depends on length and resolution. Per second, MiniMax H3 uses about 4.4 credits at 768P and 7 at 2K, so a 5-second 768P clip costs 22 credits and a 15-second 2K video costs 106. The exact number appears in the generator before you confirm, and if a generation fails the credits go straight back to your balance.
