Cookie Policy

1. Scope
This Policy covers ImgVid at imgvid.app (the "Service"). It lists the cookies we set, what each one does, and how you can manage them. Personal information is covered by the Privacy Policy.
2. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small piece of text a site stores on your device so it can remember something between requests, such as whether you are signed in. The only cookies we use are the ones listed below. We do not use pixels, SDKs, or device fingerprinting.
3. Essential cookies
Our server sets these, and each one is httpOnly, so scripts on the page cannot read them. Without them you cannot sign in or use anything that needs an account, which is why there is no way to turn them off.

4. Analytics cookies
If Google Analytics is switched on, Google sets _ga and cookies starting with _ga_ in your browser to tell visitors and visits apart, usually for two years. We only look at the aggregate: which pages get used, and where things break. The other analytics service we use does not need cookies at all.
We set no advertising cookies, and we pass no cookie data to ad networks.
5. Managing cookies
(a) Every major browser lets you view, delete, or block cookies from its settings. Check your browser's help pages for where they live.
(b) Block or delete the essential cookies and you will not be able to sign in, or you will be signed out immediately afterwards.
(c) Turning off analytics cookies changes nothing about how the Service works. You can use your browser's own blocking, an extension, or Google's opt-out add-on for Analytics.
6. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. If a change is material, we update the effective date at the top of this page.
