Key Features of Seedream 5 Pro

The Seedream 5 Pro AI image generator lays out dense text and charts, follows edits you draw onto the image and renders light and skin with photographic detail.

Dense Infographics in One Pass

Dense Infographics in One Pass

List the parts you need, such as a flavor wheel, an oxidation chart and a brewing thermometer, and Seedream 5 Pro plans the layout and fills in every label. The result reads as a finished explainer, ready for lessons, reports and social posts.

Edits You Draw on the Image

Edits You Draw on the Image

Draw boxes, arrows and short handwritten notes on your photo, upload it and ask for the changes you marked. Seedream 5 Pro works out where each note points, so a desert lizard grows crystal wings while the dunes and the evening light stay as they were.

Photographic Light and Skin

Photographic Light and Skin

Name the camera technique, such as a panning shot, light through window blinds or black-and-white film. Seedream 5 Pro renders motion blur, reflections on glass and the pores and fine lines of skin the way a camera records them.

Text in More Than Ten Languages

Text in More Than Ten Languages

Write your prompt in Chinese, English, Spanish, Arabic, Japanese, Korean, French, German or Russian, and put the words for the design in quotes. Accents like á and ú, right-to-left Arabic and East Asian scripts come out ready for local markets.

Seedream 5 Pro Use Cases

The Seedream 5 Pro AI image generator handles text-heavy layouts and photoreal scenes with the same kind of prompt, which covers slides, mockups, storyboards and campaign images in one tool.

A Chinese-language infographic on an Antarctic research station, with a timeline, bar, donut and line charts around an aerial photo of the station in snow.

Infographics and Reports

Give the topic, the charts you want and the figures to show. Seedream 5 Pro combines a timeline, several charts and a photo of the subject in one frame, ready for reports, lessons and science posts.

A pet store homepage mockup in sunset tones, where a golden retriever's paw reaches out of its photo onto the Shop Now button.

Website and App Mockups

Describe the navigation bar, product cards, button and hero image, then say which elements overlap. Here a golden retriever's paw breaks out of its frame to rest on the Shop Now button, a mockup ready for pitches and design reviews.

A 16-panel graphite storyboard of a medieval cavalry charge, numbered from the opening landscape to a fallen banner.

Storyboards and Shot Planning

Ask for a numbered grid, such as 16 panels in four rows, and write one beat per panel. The sheet keeps one pencil style from the first wide shot to the last, so directors and animators can review a sequence before the shoot.

A pencil blueprint of a futuristic sports car with side, front and rear views, an exploded view and dimension lines.

Product and Industrial Design

Request front, side and rear views, an exploded view and dimension lines on one sheet. Seedream 5 Pro draws the concept as a technical blueprint, useful for concept reviews and design pitches.

A two-story glass villa with dark metal frames on coastal rocks, lit from inside as the sun sets over the sea.

Architecture and Interiors

Specify the materials, the time of day and the camera height, for example a low wide shot at sunset. Glass, stone and wood pick up the sky and the sea as they would in an architectural photo, ready for concept boards and client presentations.

A father in a white T-shirt combs his young daughter's hair in a sunlit living room while she holds a toy.

Lifestyle and Brand Photography

Describe the people, what they're doing and where the light comes from. A father combing his daughter's hair in morning sun keeps natural skin, fabric and everyday clutter, which suits brand campaigns and editorial stories without a photo shoot.

Made with Seedream 5 Pro

The Seedream 5 Pro AI image generator moves between beauty portraits, manga pages, pencil sketches and posters in other languages while keeping text and texture sharp.

Seedream 5 Pro AI Image Generator FAQs

Answers about the Seedream 5 Pro AI image generator on ImgVid, from editing with your own markup to what each image costs in credits.

Seedream 5 Pro is ByteDance's image model, released by the Seed team on July 8, 2026 as Seedream 5.0 Pro. Compared with earlier Seedream versions it improves text rendering, layout and realism, and it adds four headline skills: dense infographics, edits guided by marks on the image, photographic skin and lighting, and text in more than ten languages. On ImgVid we run it for text to image and image to image, with up to 10 reference images per generation.

Yes, in more than ten languages. ByteDance names Chinese, English, French, German, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Spanish and Arabic among them. Put the exact words in quotes, say which language they're in and where they go, such as a headline at the top and a label beside each chart. ByteDance notes that very fine text can still slip, so we proofread names, dates and prices before anything goes to print.

Draw on the image first. Mark each area you want changed with a colored box, circle or arrow, write a short note beside it, then upload the marked image and ask Seedream 5 Pro to apply the notes. It reads where each mark sits, so a note like "replace with a brass chandelier" lands on that spot. The same approach turns a rough layout sketch into a finished poster or web page. ImgVid has no point or lasso tools, so the markup lives in the image itself.

Ten per generation. Upload photos, sketches, color swatches or product shots, then refer to them in your prompt as Image 1, Image 2 and so on, and say what each one is for, for example "use the fabric from Image 1 and the color from Image 2 on the sofa in Image 3". Several portraits can also be combined into one group photo. Only upload images you have the rights to use.

1K or 2K, in eight aspect ratios: 1:1, 2:3, 3:2, 3:4, 4:3, 9:16, 16:9 and 21:9. Each run returns one to four images. Our tip: try layouts at 1K and switch to 2K for the version you'll print or publish, since small text has more pixels to work with.

2 credits per image at 1K and 4 at 2K, so a batch of four 2K images costs 16 credits. Starter's 800 monthly credits cover 400 images at 1K or 200 at 2K. The exact number appears in the generator before you confirm, and if a generation fails the credits go straight back to your balance.

Yes. Seedream 5 Pro is open on every plan, including Free. The Free plan gives you 6 credits a month with no credit card, enough for three 1K images, and runs one image job at a time. Free exports carry a watermark.

Yes, on any paid plan. Starter, Plus and Premium remove the watermark, and everything you generate on them is yours to use commercially. Plus comes with 2,000 credits a month, enough for 500 images at 2K.
